Mubasher: National Bank of Oman (NBO) earned OMR 13.7 million ($35.5 million) in the fourth quarter of 2016, lower 19.9% year-on-year from OMR 17.1 million ($44.8 million), a bourse statement revealed on Thursday.

On an annual basis, net profit decreased 7.15% in 2016 to reach OMR 55.8 million from OMR 60.1 million for 2015.

Net profit for the first nine months of 2015 fell 2.1% to OMR 42.1 million, versus OMR 43 million for the same period of 2015, according to a bourse filing.
